The cancellation report shows the amount of new reservations and cancellations in numerical and percentage value, and this statistics will be differed by source. This report will allow you to easily predict a number of cancellations for a coming period, and to take measures to reduce a number of cancellations and no-shows. For example, a large number of cancellations from any source may indicate incorrectly selected pricing policy in comparison to competing hotels. Guest makes a reservation, but later finds a better offer in the competitive property that moves him to cancel the reservation at your hotel.
You can make a report on an optional period by a reservation date or a date of arrival.
To build the report you should specify required dates and click on the “Show” button.
At the end of the report statistics on a cancellation window is presented graphically. This table shows a number of days prior to arrival in which guests cancel their reservations.
Cancellation report can be uploaded from the system to an Excel file by clicking the icon to the right of the date selection. More details about reports export can be found in the article.
