How information that the guest has made a payment when making a reservation is reflected in Bnovo PMS?

Some online booking systems accept payment online, the payment information can be seen:

  1. On an e-mail notification of a new reservation.
  2. In Bnovo PMS > General tab in reservation > More info
    prepayed

There are on-line booking systems, which do not accept payments from guests. This function lies on the hotel. Scheme of money withdrawal in this case is as follows:

  1. When making a reservation, a system requests data of guest’s credit card.
  2. System transfers to the hotel credit card data.
  3. The hotel, upon condition of the availability of bank terminal (with remote acquiring service), takes the prescribed fee from guest’s card.

Thus, the information that the guest has guaranteed his reservations with a credit card also gets to extra information in the General tab in reservation, and when you withdraw money from the card, information about it should be recorded in the PMS.

Scheme of taking a payment while booking at your online module is similar. An exception is the payment through a payment gateway. If for receiving payments from guests you are using a gateway, when a payment is made you receive a letter about it to your e-mail. Also this information is stored in the personal account of payment system and in Wubook in Reservations tab (status “Confirmed: Confirmed with Deposit”). In this case, you should also enter data on this payment in the PMS in the Account tab.
